Empowering survivors to transform their lives through the healing power of yoga.

Exhale to Inhale (ETI) uses the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga to empower those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault, while helping communities develop skills and knowledge to support them.

ETI provides weekly trauma-informed yoga classes in domestic violence shelters and community centers in New York. ETI also conducts trauma-informed teacher trainings across the United States—bringing a unique methodology based on simplicity and choice-making.

Supporting ETI allows this transformative, yoga-based program to continue and provides powerful tools to help those who need it most. Together we can support survivors healing journey—mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Why Yoga?

The resources gained through yoga are at the very foundation of our lives—the ability to breathe and to find our balance, to feel safe and strong in our bodies. Returning to the breath can be a way of returning to the self—and finding that space to breathe can be transformational.
